Hot water problems?
There are many possible causes of hot water problems.
If your water is not as hot as it should be, possible issues include a faulty tempering valve, thermostat, element or even a cross-connection, to name a few.
Before calling a professional, there are a few quick and easy things you can check.
Sewer problems?
Do you have an unexplained smell in the house?
Does your toilet level rise higher than normal when flushed?
Do you hear a gurgling sound at odd times?
It’s more than likely that you will require a plumber, but sometimes there is a simple explanation for some such problems.
Gas leak?
Do you smell gas in or around the house?
Is your gas bill unexpectedly higher than normal?
Gas leaks are dangerous, so you should deal with them as soon as possible.
Water leak?
Do you notice a wet area in the lawn or garden not associated to rain?
Do you see puddles of water where there shouldn’t be?
Is your water bill higher than normal?
Get on top of it now before too much damage is caused.
Leaking taps or toilets?
Are your taps hard to turn off and keep dripping?
Do your taps leak from around the handles or flanges?
Does your toilet keep running or dripping onto the floor?
